The How and Wow Sessions

The day is broken up into two sets of talks. Rather than a one-conference-fits-all approach we have created How 2.0 to meet the knowledge requirements of people at different levels. Overview talks in the morning will cover the bases while a choice practical workshops in the afternoon will ensure you leave with the know-how to make changes in how you market your business.

The How sessions in the afternoon are practical workshops. As a delegate you will get to attend three 90 minute workshops focused on the areas you want to learn most about. These workshops will provide you with the know-how to apply what you saw earlier in the day - directly to your business.

So far, your choice of workshops include the following.

  • Facebook for Beginners

  • Facebook - Advanced

  • Blogs and Twitter

  • Email Marketing

  • Pay Per Click Advertising on Google

  • Linked In

  • More to be announced

Wow sessions are a series of quick presentations aimed at giving an overview of what's possible for your businesses online. This overview will set you off with a hunger to find out more in the How Workshops.

Goal Setting

Like any business activity you need to set goals. Goal setting online is vital to success online. How many Likes? How many followers? How much time? What return?

Real-World Examples

Real life stories will show the highs - and lows - of different online marketing campaigns.

Platform Snapshots

Some businesses succeed at online marketing for no other reason than than they know the tools that make it easy. We'll show you what's out there to streamline your marketing and increase your advantage.

Housekeeping!

Just like trying to cook in an already messy kitchen… your online marketing needs a house in some order. We'll be covering that too!

How much is too much?

How much should you be spending on your online marketing? And how do you know it's paying off. We'll answer the first question… and help you figure out the second.

Back to basics

This session isn't long… but it'll explain some of the jargon it's assumed you know. Hosting, content management systems, posts, blogs… we'll make sense of it all.
